These are a great snack for when you need an indulgent but healthy treat. For me, it’s some time after breakfast and before lunch, or just after the working day to put me on until dinner time.
Serves 6
Mash two bananas until they start to release their moisture, and combine well with all the other ingredients. Sprinkle with chocolate if using and spread into a small, greased baking tin.
Bake in the middle of an oven, preheated to 180 degrees Celcius, for 10 minutes. Don’t let these cook for any longer than this or they risk drying out. These are delicious as they are, drizzled in maple syrup, or moistened with milk or plant milk.
