Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are a staple and as flexible as you need them to be. A base recipe is included below but the joy of oats comes from the additions so try some of the flavour suggestions provided.

Ingredients

  • 50 g oats
  • 50 g yoghurt or
  • 50 ml plant milk or milk
For the add-ins
  • Nut butter and honey
  • grated carrot, pistachio and apple
  • banana and grated dark chocolate

Method

The night before, mix your oats with the yoghurt, plant milk or milk and stir, ensuring the oats are properly covered.

Leave in the fridge until the following day or longer if making in batches.

Loosen with a bit of milk or water if the mixture is too stiff. There’s no right or wrong consistency.

Add your additions.

Tip: You can batch these if required, making up to 3 days in advance.
